Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our healthcare team.
Responsibilities and Skills:
- Helping patients move to and from treatment areas.
- Assisting with exercises and functional activities under the direction of a physical therapist.
- Preparing patients for treatment by welcoming, comforting, and assisting with dressing.
- Cleaning and organizing treatment areas.
- Ensuring proper sanitation and safety protocols.
- Setting up and maintaining therapy equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Familiarity with physical therapy equipment.
- Observational skills to spot problems with equipment and supplies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
