We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician (Handyman) to handle general repairs and upkeep across multiple McDonald’s restaurant locations. This is a hands-on role focused on routine maintenance and small repairs to keep our facilities safe, clean, and operational. The ideal candidate is resourceful, organized, and able to respond quickly to maintenance needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs and upkeep of restaurant facilities (painting, patching, light carpentry, tile/floor repair, minor electrical tasks such as changing light bulbs or outlets).
- Maintain and repair restaurant fixtures and furnishings as needed (doors, locks, shelving, seating, drive-thru equipment, etc.).
- Assist with basic kitchen equipment maintenance (cleaning filters, tightening fittings, replacing small parts, etc.)
- Respond to maintenance work orders promptly to minimize disruption.
- Conduct regular walk-throughs of restaurants to identify potential repair or safety issues.
- Provide interior and exterior upkeep (e.g., minor landscaping tasks, signage upkeep, small curb/lot repairs).
- Pick up and return tools, parts, and supplies as needed.
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow company safety standards.
- Remain available for occasional on-call needs (nights, weekends, holidays).
Qualifications
- Proven handyman, maintenance, or related experience.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical repair tasks.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
