Note: This is not a housekeeping type of position. Looking for some warehouse experience and interest in driving a forklift in the future.
Schedules:
Sunday-Thursday 7am-330pm
Saturday and Sunday: Part Time (6-8 hours each day)
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Facility Sanitation Associate plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized dry warehouse environment. This position ensures that all sanitation protocols are followed to meet company standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning of warehouse floors, equipment, and common areas using industrial cleaning equipment.
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces, including handrails, doorknobs, and restrooms.
- Remove waste and debris from designated areas and properly dispose of materials in accordance with company procedures.
- Clean breakrooms, locker rooms, and other shared spaces to maintain hygiene and cleanliness.
- Follow proper cleaning schedules and document tasks as required.
- Ensure cleaning supplies and materials are stocked and organized.
- Report any maintenance, safety, or pest control concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to minimize disruptions to production flow.
- Adhere to all safety, PPE, and food safety regulations and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in industrial or warehouse sanitation preferred.
- Ability to work independently and follow cleaning procedures and schedules.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Physically able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
