Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Stepdown, and Telemetry assignment in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have strong acute care nursing experience and be comfortable caring for patients who require cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and close clinical observation.

Travel RN Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in PCU, stepdown, telemetry, and acute care settings.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic status, vital signs, and changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments according to provider orders and facility protocols.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Provide patient and family education regarding medications, treatment plans, and discharge needs.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, case managers, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Support patient care in ED holding, medical-surgical, and observation units as needed.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and patient-safety requirements.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- At least 2 years of PCU, stepdown, telemetry, or acute care experience.
- Current BLS certification through AHA.
- Current chemotherapy certification required.
- ACLS certification required or preferred, based on facility requirements.
- Telemetry experience preferred.
- Ability to work 36 hours per week on day or night shifts.
