Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Landscaping Crew Member to assist with the installation and maintenance of residential and commercial landscapes. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, performing physical labor, using horticulturally correct standards, and collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and with high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in installing and maintaining landscapes, including planting, mulching, pruning, and hardscaping.
- Operate hand tools, power equipment, and machinery such as compactors, trimmers, and skid steers.
- Follow project plans and directions from the crew leader and foreman.
- Ensure work areas are clean and organized at the end of each day.
- Safely load and unload materials and equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- Provide excellent service to clients and represent Landscape St. Louis professionally.
Requirements:
- Previous landscaping or construction experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
