Location: AC Hotel Durango Downtown (498 2nd Ave E) Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic leader responsible for establishing a friendly atmosphere of superior guest service and product quality. You will provide exemplary performance for the staff to follow and help achieve ongoing guest satisfaction through the meticulous maintenance, upkeep, and cleanliness of our rooms.
Essential Duties:
- Maintain strict brand cleanliness standards for rooms and public areas, conducting regular inspections to ensure these standards are consistently met.
- Manage recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, and performance evaluations.
- Meets or exceeds hotel guest satisfaction measures
- Plan work schedules and room assignments with minimum disruption to our guests.
- Purchase and order cleaning supplies, linens, and chemicals at the best prices (with GM approval), while maintaining strict inventory and cost control procedures.
- Maintain a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management, resolving any employee grievances in a fair and timely way.
- Communicate to guests about hotel promotions, local attractions, and points of interest.
- Ensure employees know policies, benefits, and participate in ongoing safety training to minimize workers' compensation claims.
- Recognize and immediately correct conditions which may create a security, fire, or accident hazard.
Qualifications:
- Must have eadership skills and a high attention to detail.
- Organized and efficient, with the ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively deal with department heads, guests, and team members, driven by a desire to provide exceptional customer service.
- Computer skills required to input information and manage department systems.
- Fosse PMS system prefered but not requierd
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Required to work weekends and holidays.
Pay rage depending on experience
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
