Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail team and drive store success. Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management.
- Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and purchasing to ensure product availability and presentation.
- Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new employees; conduct performance evaluations and support staff development initiatives.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract customers and increase sales; coordinate promotional activities and pricing adjustments.
- Monitor store budget, control expenses, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Supervise shift scheduling, employee orientation, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks to maintain operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong skills in negotiation, employee training & development, and team management.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management, retail math, cash handling, POS systems, and merchandising.
- Experience with recruiting, interviewing, payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and sales management.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with effective time management and organizational skills.
- Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail sales is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of wireless sales or grocery store operations is advantageous but not required.
