This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with food experience who can run the shift, coach a younger team, and ensure quality control during service. You’ll work alongside the crew and set the pace, standards, and vibe on the floor.
Schedule (Full-Time)
- 5-6 days/week
- 12:00pm–9:00pm
- Night shift required
Qualifications (Team Leader)
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Food Handler’s Certification
- Strong work ethic and integrity — we value a proactive, team attitude
- Food handling and restaurant experience required
- Comfortable leading and coaching a team (many team members are high school students)
- Strong attention to cleanliness, speed, and quality
- Reliable attendance and punctuality (this role must be dependable)
Primary Job Duties
Leadership & Shift Support
- Lead the team during your shift and help keep everyone on task and on pace
- Train and coach team members on standards, urgency, and professionalism
- Hold the line on expectations respectfully (cleaning, restocking, quality, and teamwork)
- Support smooth closings by ensuring tasks/checklists are completed
Quality Control
- Ensure consistency in portioning, freshness, and presentation of poke bowls/salads/juices
- Catch mistakes before food goes out and correct them in the moment
- Follow and enforce basic food safety and sanitation standards
Operations
- Prepare meals, package food items, take orders, and ring up customer purchases
- Maintain a clean work environment in the poke bar, kitchen, and guest areas
- Organize supplies and keep stations stocked
- Stay proactive and keep the team productive during slower periods
