Role Overview
Growth Stack Media is seeking a remote, freelance B2B Tech Public Relations Manager contractor to support key client accounts on a contract basis. This role is ideal for an experienced B2B Tech PR professional with a strong agency background and a proven ability to step into fast-moving accounts and immediately drive results. You will serve as the day-to-day lead across assigned B2B tech accounts, managing deliverables, securing tier-one and trade media placements, and ensuring campaigns run seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities
Account and Client Management: Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned B2B tech clients. Lead weekly client calls, manage agendas, and ensure all deliverables are met on deadline.
Media Relations: Develop and execute targeted media relations strategies for B2B tech brands. Actively pitch and secure top-tier business, technology, and industry trade coverage. Maintain and leverage relationships with key journalists and analysts covering the B2B tech space.
Content Development: Draft, edit, and proofread high-quality PR materials for B2B tech clients including press releases, media pitches, bylined articles, executive briefing documents, and award and speaking submissions.
Strategic Planning: Assist in developing quarterly PR plans, proactive pitch angles, and newsjacking opportunities based on current B2B tech industry trends.
Reporting and Analytics: Track client coverage, manage media lists, and compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports measuring KPIs and campaign performance.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 4 to 6+ years of public relations experience with a strong emphasis on B2B tech, including cybersecurity, software, enterprise technology, or healthcare. Previous B2B tech agency experience is preferred.
Media Relations: Proven track record of securing coverage in tier-one publications such as TechCrunch, WIRED, Forbes, and WSJ, as well as key B2B tech industry trades.
Writing: Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex, technical B2B tech concepts into compelling, accessible narratives.
Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, manage your own time efficiently, and proactively anticipate B2B tech client needs without micromanagement.
Tech Stack: Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as MuckRack, Cision, or Meltwater, along with Google Workspace and project management platforms such as Slack.
