Rich’s Modern Flooring is looking for a Sales Associate. Our company sells and installs all types of flooring including: Carpet, vinyl, hardwood, laminate and ceramic tile. This Sales Associate will assist customers, builders, and contractors throughout their entire flooring process.
This is a full time position which includes some Saturdays.
Pay: Depending on experience
Job Description:
- Explain product to customers and assists them in selection of floor coverings
- Perform onsite measurements – Must take accurate measurements
- Diagram and figure square footage and yardage including pattern matches
- Create estimates
- Order materials
- Follow up with clients after installation for quality control
- Maintain the showroom
- Dress in business casual clothing with professional appearance
- Interior design experience and/or floor covering experience preferred

- Flooring background & sale experience
- Good natured cooperative attitude
- Dependable transportation & insurance
- Valid driver’s license
- Computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated and honest

- Possess basic mathematical knowledge and abilities
