Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter / General Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of painting and general labor tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your energetic approach and commitment to quality will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer as needed.
- Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using hand tools or airless paint spraying equipment on various surfaces including walls, ceilings, trim, stucco, and masonry.
- Assist with demolition, site cleanup, and material handling to support ongoing construction or renovation activities.
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and ensure accurate application of paint and finishes.
- Perform minor carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry, framing, fixture installation, and drywall repair to support renovation efforts.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for various tasks including plastering, concrete finishing, masonry work, and welding when required.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading.
- Proficiency in residential and commercial painting techniques with an understanding of color theory.
- Experience with construction site safety practices and ability to work effectively with schematics and technical drawings.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and welding equipment.
- Familiarity with renovation processes including restoration, remodeling, stucco application, caulking, fixture installation, and maintenance tasks.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project specifications.
- Hands-on experience in carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry) as well as masonry or concrete finishing is a plus.
- Ability to adapt quickly on-site with handyman experience or general labor skills that support diverse project needs.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
