Overview

As a Barista, you will play a key role in our café, preparing high-quality beverages and providing outstanding customer service. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and care.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring a smooth checkout process.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and equipment.
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure the health and safety of our customers.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow and enhance the overall customer experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or café environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong skills in food preparation, basic math, cash handling, and operating a cash register.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain health standards.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- A positive attitude with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
