We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our vibrant dental practice. Part-time position, 1-3 days (can be discussed further upon application). Patient base is ffs and insurance. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Your expertise in general dentistry, combined with excellent patient communication skills, will help foster a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. Duties
- Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations and medical history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide a wide range of dental services such as dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, root canal therapy, extractions, and prosthodontics.
- Conduct oral surgery procedures with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Utilize dental imaging tools and medical imaging technology to diagnose and plan treatments effectively.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental terminology standards.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions for long-term wellness.
Skills
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control protocols, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics procedures.
- Ability to communicate complex dental concepts clearly to pediatric and adult patients alike.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles and providing compassionate care for children (pediatrics).
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards for protecting patient privacy and handling medical records securely.
