Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of construction and industrial equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, bucket trucks, digger derricks, and skid steers.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, AC, pneumatic, and engine systems
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure equipment meets operational standards
- Respond to local field service calls as needed
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic (or related field)
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions

Schedule
- Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM, with the possibility of overtime
Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
