What you will do:
- Administer oral, topical, inhalation, and other approved medications as ordered and permitted by Iowa regulations
- Accurately document all medication-related activities in the electronic MAR (eMAR), including use of scanning systems when applicable
- Receive, store, and maintain medications in compliance with safety and security standards
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, as needed, attending meals, activities, and appointments
- Respond to call lights promptly and courteously
- Current Certified Medication Aide certification in good standing in Iowa
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to safely perform physical job duties, including lifting, bending, and extended standing/walking
- 18–24 months of experience in assisted living or a similar healthcare setting preferred
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
