- The new inline store would require product expansion from costume jewelry alone into a fully diverse accessory concept. Instant success allowed the model to rollout into the 56 store we have to date.

Description:
A sales person/cashier is responsible for providing the best quality customer service. They must maintain a clean and organized store. The sales person/cashier is responsible for tasks such as, but not limited to, putting jewelry on display, operating the cash register, communicating with customers and responding to their inquiries, communicating with vendors, opening and closing store, and completing sales transactions, daily reports, and bank deposits.
Other Responsibilities:
1- Must provide excellent customer service and promote a friendly and comfortable environment.
2- Must have broad knowledge of store products for better sales performance.
3- Must have marketing skills for better display and promotion of merchandise.
4- Must have knowledge and comply with company policies as described in the employee manual.
5- Must properly maintain enough petty cash in cash register, and ensure that petty cash withdraws are properly documented.
6- All other responsibilities assigned by supervisor and related to the position.
Requirements/Essential Functions
1- Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, customers, and vendors.
2- Ability to field all telephone calls and send and receive mail, including email.
3- Ability to open and close store.
4- Ability to efficiently complete all sales transactions, daily reports, and bank deposits.
5- Ability to operate a computer and cash register.
6- Must be able to efficiently stock merchandise, place merchandise, and operate cash register.
7- Must have good writing, presentation, and communications skills.
8- Ability to work in multiple locations within the store.
9- Ability to work different or extended hours if needed.
10- Ability to operate the store alone at times according to store procedure.
11- Ability to perform all other duties deemed necessary by supervisor.
