Job Title: Burger King Assistant Manager
Job Description:
The Assistant Manager (AM) is a pivotal figure in the restaurant's operations, emphasizing profitability, guest service excellence, team development, and efficient management. Working in tandem with the Restaurant General Manager (RGM), the AM oversees the day-to-day activities of a single restaurant, driving key performance indicators. They function under the RGM's guidance and directly supervise a team of Hourly Shift Coordinators and Team Members (20-45 employees).
Responsibilities:
Profitability:

Conducts regular Daily, Weekly, and Monthly inventory inspections to manage inventory costs effectively.

Places and manages inventory truck orders efficiently.

Maintains and monitors a comprehensive list of all restaurant assets.

Ensures the timely completion of preventative maintenance for the restaurant's facilities and equipment, adhering to Company standards and liaising with external vendors when necessary.

Enforces cash control and security procedures, including safe counting and managing cash drawers.
Guest Experience:

Motivates and guides team members to surpass guest expectations through prompt, accurate, and amiable service in a clean environment.
People Development:

Provides constructive coaching and feedback to Shift Coordinators and Team Members, enhancing the team's capabilities and elevating restaurant performance.
Operations:

Directs the restaurant team to ensure efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products, adhering to established speed of service guidelines.

Upholds operational and brand standards within the restaurant.

Steps into the role of Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.

1-2 years of prior experience in quick service restaurant, with management experience preferred.

Basic understanding of P L interpretation and management to drive profitability.

Demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Proficient understanding of guest service principles.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to work extended and/or irregular shifts as required for the smooth operation of the restaurant.
