SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for transporting, delivering, and merchandising CremiMex, Inc. products to small stores, chain stores, and satellite warehouse locations while providing excellent customer service and maintaining the company’s core values of Integrity, Responsibility, Service, Teamwork, and Safety; representing CremiMex professionally and contribute to the company’s vision of being a trusted leader in the food distribution industry.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Represents CremiMex, Inc. in a professional manner by communicating effectively and building positive working relationships with customers and team members.
· Maintains a professional appearance by consistently wearing CremiMex-branded attire in accordance with company standards.
· Retrieves route information and prepares for daily deliveries.
· Inspects and prepares assigned vehicle to meet CremiMex operational and safety expectations.
· Ensures product loaded onto the vehicle is accurate in quantity, in sellable condition, and safely secured for transport.
· Ensures possession of required tools including iPad, printer, gloves, delivery documentation, credit memo binder, and other materials necessary for daily deliveries, prior to leaving the warehouse.
· Delivers products to customers and merchandises products when applicable.
· Collects payments for delivered products and processes credit memos and returns accurately.
· Operates assigned vehicle safely and in compliance with all local, state, and company regulations.
· Maintains communication with supervisor, office manager, and warehouse supervisor regarding issues including incorrect products, damaged or outdated products, or documentation discrepancies.
· Maintains vehicle cleanliness and ensures vehicle readiness for next-day deliveries.
· Maintains proper use and safekeeping of the company fuel card, which is to be used exclusively for fueling authorized company vehicles.
· Submits accurate daily Cash Reports and delivery documentation to office personnel.
· Communicates any unfinished deliveries directly to the supervisor and/or Team Lead in a timely manner.
· Utilizes company vehicles, equipment, and tools with the highest regard for safety and concern for others.
· Participates in monthly driver meetings by providing feedback, suggestions, and operational updates.
· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certificates, licenses and registrations required:
o Maintain a valid California Class C Driver’s License is required.
- Computer skills required:
o Microsoft Teams
o Electronic Mail Software (Outlook);
o Proficiency in using GPS, maps, and route-planning tools.
