TruBuilt Renovations is looking for an experienced residential remodeling carpenter to join our growing company. This is not an entry-level construction position. We need someone who already understands residential remodeling, can complete assigned work without constant supervision, and takes pride in doing things correctly.
Our projects include bathroom remodels, flooring, drywall, painting, trim carpentry, doors, windows, decks, siding, and general interior and exterior renovations. The type of work will vary from project to project, so the right person must be comfortable performing several different trades.
We are looking for someone dependable who can be given a task, understand what needs to be done, and follow it through to completion.
Responsibilities - Perform residential remodeling and repair work - Complete drywall installation, finishing, and repairs - Prepare surfaces and perform professional-quality painting - Install trim, doors, flooring, cabinets, and other finish materials - Assist with bathroom, kitchen, and whole-home renovation projects - Perform light framing and carpentry work - Protect customers’ homes and maintain a clean jobsite - Communicate clearly about project progress, materials, or potential problems - Work independently or alongside the owner and other crew members - Follow company standards for workmanship and customer service
Required Experience:
Applicants should have practical experience in residential remodeling and be comfortable with several of the following: - Interior and exterior painting - Drywall installation and repair - Trim and finish carpentry - Door and window installation - LVP and laminate flooring - Light framing - Siding and exterior repairs - Bathroom or kitchen remodeling - General residential construction.
You do not need to be an expert in every trade, but you must have enough experience to be productive without being taught basic construction skills.

- Ability to lift construction materials and perform physical work
- Ability to work safely and professionally inside occupied homes

- Respectful communication with homeowners and other trades
- Drug-free while working or operating company equipment
- Willingness to work throughout Griffin and surrounding areas
