We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and security of premises
- Monitor surveillance equipment including CCTV systems
- Respond to alarms and security incidents
- Enforce property regulations and guidelines
- Provide assistance to customers and employees when needed
- Report any suspicious activities or incidents to appropriate authorities
-Perform regular safety and security roving patrols on USNS ships
Skills
- Experience in surveillance and law enforcement is preferred
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and monitoring
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques
- Ability to handle conflicts and manage difficult situations calmly
- Military experience is advantageous
- Possession of relevant security certificates or guard card is a must within the first six months of employment

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
