Food Production Assistant – Ice Manufacturing & Specialty Ice Production
Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour
Schedule: 16–40 hours per week (Flexible Scheduling)

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Food Production Assistant to join our specialty ice production team. This hands-on role involves manufacturing premium ice cubes, crafting custom ice sculptures, and producing ice luges for weddings, corporate events, restaurants, and special occasions. Key Responsibilities
- Produce and package premium food-grade ice cubes.
- Assist with the creation of custom ice sculptures and ice luges.
- Safely move, lift, and transport large blocks of ice and finished products.
- Operate production equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Work in freezer environments for extended periods while maintaining productivity.
- Inspect products for quality and consistency.
- Prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup.
- Assist with general warehouse organization, inventory, and production support.
- Follow all company safety procedures and proper lifting techniques.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
- Comfortable working in cold environments, including walk-in freezer boxes.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, food production, or construction experience is a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to learn specialized ice production techniques.
Physical Requirements
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
- Stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods.
- Work safely in refrigerated and freezer conditions.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
