Responsibilities:
- Assist Veterinary in appointments.
- Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgery.
- Perform blood draws, place IV lines, and take X-rays.
- Run laboratory tests and dental cleanings.
- Educate clients on pet care and treatment plans.
Experience: 5 years minimum
- Proven veterinary technician experience with a strong background in animal husbandry and clinical procedures
- Kennel experience preferred for handling hospitalized animals and maintaining their comfort and safety
- Familiarity with dental terminology and performing dental cleanings.
- Experience in veterinary critical care or emergency medicine to respond swiftly during urgent situations
- Laboratory experience including phlebotomy (blood draws), diagnostic testing, and radiology diagnostics
- Knowledge of veterinary anesthesia monitoring techniques for general anesthesia procedures
- Skills in cat handling and dog training.
