Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Doggy Daycare Assistant. This position offers a unique opportunity to work for a small business, gaining valuable experience in animal care. No prior experience is required – we will provide comprehensive training to ensure you have all the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and interact with dogs in our care, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Assist with feeding, walking, and administering medications as needed
- Clean and maintain daycare facilities, including indoor and outdoor play areas, restrooms, and common areas
- Engage with pet owners, providing updates and answering questions about their pets' experiences at our daycare
- Participate in training sessions to learn about dog behavior, handling techniques, and basic obedience training methods
Qualifications:
- Passionate about animals, particularly dogs, with a desire to learn and grow in the field of animal care
- Reliable, responsible, and able to follow instructions
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Hands-on training provided by experienced professionals in the field of animal care
