American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a NM or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

Work in the Medical Surgical Combination unit of a hospital setting
-
199-bed hospital located in Las Cruces, New Mexico
-
12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
-
12-week assignment duration
-
Weekly orientation held on Mondays
-
Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact) currently in hand
-
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
-
AHA certifications required
-
Fingerprint background check required prior to hire, with documentation showing the check is in process
-
Candidates may start on a 14-day supervised waiver while background check results are pending
-
Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
-
Active Nursys/licensure verification required at time of consideration
-
Provide direct patient care within a Joint Commission accredited hospital
-
Facility is a Certified Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI capability
-
Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate

Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months

Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
