Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our growing Ann Arbor team as a 1099 independent contractor. This hybrid opportunity offers the best of both worlds—remote telehealth convenience combined with the meaningful connection of in-person therapy.
This position is well-suited for clinicians who value autonomy, teamwork, and delivering high-quality, client-centered care. You will provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families experiencing concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and major life changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families using evidence-based approaches
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans guided by clinical assessments and client goals
- Utilize CBT, DBT, EMDR, and trauma-informed modalities as appropriate
- Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization services when necessary
- Maintain thorough, timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation
- Collaborate with colleagues, healthcare providers, and community partners to support coordinated care
- Engage in team meetings, peer consultation, and supervision when needed
- Offer mentorship or clinical supervision if qualified
- Adhere to state and professional ethical standards
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field
- Active, unrestricted LPC license in Michigan
- Strong background in evidence-based therapeutic practices
- Ability to independently manage a clinical caseload
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Experience with telehealth preferred
