Courier / Office Support
Crystal Courier Service is a small parcel delivery company that has been around for over 75 years. We're a family run company that provides daily, routed service across the Front Range from Fort Collins to Pueblo. Our team is comprised of approximately 25 people, mostly delivery drivers, and we're looking for a reliable, ambitious teammate.
We consider this a "hybrid position"
70 - 80% of this role will entail performing deliveries, filling in on various routes where we have gaps in our schedule due to other drivers' absences.
20 - 30% of this role will entail working in the office. In the office, you'll be responsible for taking phone calls, dispatching drivers, resolving customer issues, and wrapping things up at the end of the day.
This position is a unique blend of driver and office support. Every day will look a little different but the key skills must include:
- Driving and delivering packages are a key part of this role as you'll be on the road more often than not. Operating your vehicle safely while efficiently making deliveries is a must
- Problem solving on the road and in the office
- Proficient computer skills: We use Google Workspace for email and general office tasks and we use a specialized dispatching software to plan and assign routes to our drivers
- Good interpersonal skills - must be able to train new drivers, work with customers and co-workers
- Can-do attitude with a willingness to take on special projects as needed
- Phone skills - Must be good on the phone with customers and our drivers, able to handle multiple phone calls at once and resolve issues thoroughly, yet quickly
- Good customer service
- Schedule and time management
- Assist with and understand our daily employee scheduling
Core Responsibilities
In short, we're looking for a leader who is ambitious for career advancement, curious for learning.
- Must be able to work the hours of 9 to 5, Monday through Friday and, once in a while, be able to work a little later as you’ll be filling in for our “closer” who closes the shop at 6 pm (this happens maybe 20 days a year).
- Run routes to fill in whenever needed (this happens nearly every day)
- Provide training to new employees
- Attendance is critical - while we offer paid time off, we need a team member who understands the need to be there everyday and who understands the bind that it puts the operation in if there's an abrupt absence.

Pay: $20.50 per hour
