We are seeking a driven, high-energy Catering Sales Manager to take our event business to new heights. If you are a sales professional with a passion for hospitality, networking, and flawless event execution, we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Revenue: Actively prospect, develop, and grow catering and event sales across corporate, social, and community segments.
- Client Relationship Management: Build strong connections with new clients while maintaining and nurturing relationships with repeat customers.
- Inquiry & Proposal Management: Promptly respond to event inquiries, conduct site tours, and prepare customized, compelling event proposals.
- Event Coordination: Detail all logistics—from menus to floor plans—and ensure seamless communication with clients leading up to their event.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with our culinary and operations teams to guarantee flawless execution on the day of the event.
- Goal Achievement: Meet and consistently exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of proven success in catering sales, hotel sales, or event planning/sales.
- Skills: Strong networking, negotiation, and closing skills with a track record of driving new business.
- Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Organization: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple events, contracts, and tight deadlines simultaneously.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with catering/CRM software is a plus.
