In this role, you'll provide exceptional customer service, assist with automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance inquiries, and manage inventory to ensure seamless operations. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and identify their automotive needs through active listening and effective communication skills
- Assist customers in locating auto parts using inventory management systems, POS (Point of Sale) tools, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software
- Provide technical advice on automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and vehicle maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and fulfilling orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions, process payments via POS systems, and maintain accurate cash handling records
- Collaborate with the sales team to promote relevant products and marketing initiatives that enhance retail sales
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety standards and dealership protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive repair or dealership environments is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and automotive service procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory effectively and perform retail math accurately
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or POS platforms is advantageous
- Exceptional communication skills with phone etiquette and customer service expertise
- Ability to negotiate effectively and demonstrate sales management capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking and reporting tasks
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or stock management is beneficial
