Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across designated local routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety standards and report any issues promptly
- Manage route driving responsibilities with precision, maintaining schedules and optimizing delivery times
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues during transit
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, inspection reports, and load documentation
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license with a minimum of two years of manual transmission driving experience
- Proven experience operating tractor-trailers with manual gearboxes in a commercial setting
- Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures including load & unload operations
- Familiarity with route driving strategies for efficient local deliveries
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with dispatchers and customers effectively

Pay: $1,100.00 - $1,400.00 per week
