Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Skytab POS system
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Support kitchen staff by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and assisting with basic food preparation when needed
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest inquiries professionally
- Culinary experience is a plus, along with understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and bill splitting
- Experience with food industry standards such as serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, and food preparation
