Job Overview
The Assistant Property Manager works with and assists the Property Manager in the general administration of the property. Duties are to perform related leasing, administrative, operational and bookkeeping functions. Hourly compensation plus bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing property leasing processes, including tenant screening, lease signing, and move-in/move-out procedures
- Support rent collection efforts, ensuring timely payments and addressing delinquencies with tactful negotiation skills
- Assist with coordinate property maintenance requests to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards
- Maintain accurate data entry in property management software such as OneSite, including lease details, tenant information, and maintenance logs
- Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations and other legal administrative protocols
- Handle customer service inquiries via phone and in person, providing professional assistance while managing conflict resolution effectively
- Prepare and organize legal documents, contracts, filing systems, and compliance reports to support property operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles
- Knowledge of property management software such as OneSite
- Excellent customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette and conflict management abilities
- Demonstrated ability to handle legal administrative tasks, contracts, data entry, filing, and office organization efficiently
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, lease agreements, contracts negotiation, and facilities management practices
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $19.50 - $20.50 per hour
