Registered Nurse Cardiovascular Critical Care
Location: Utica, New York
Pay Rate: $55/hr to $60/hr
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: 12-hour nights
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Experience: 2+ years of Cardiothoracic ICU experience required
About the Role
We are hiring a Registered Nurse for a 13-week Cardiovascular Critical Care contract in Utica, New York. This role requires strong CTICU experience, including fresh hearts, cardiovascular surgery patients, cardiogenic shock, and AAA cases. Travel experience and Epic experience are required.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for Cardiothoracic ICU patients.
- Manage fresh heart and cardiovascular surgery patients.
- Monitor patients with cardiogenic shock and AAA conditions.
- Assess patient status and respond to clinical changes.
- Administer medications and treatments safely.
- Use Epic for accurate clinical documentation.
- Work closely with providers and ICU care teams.
- Follow safety and critical care standards.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license required.
- 2+ years of CTICU experience required.
- Fresh hearts experience required.
- ACLS certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- NIHSS certification required.
- Epic experience required.
- Travel experience required.
- Local and travel candidates accepted.
- 75-mile radius rule applies.
- Local rate applies for candidates less than 75 miles from the location.
- No on-call requirement.
