Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree with an Associate’s degree or Associate in Applied Science degree in Medical Assisting or Nursing with at least twenty-seven (27) semester hours in-field from a regionally accredited institution is required.
OR
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with at least twenty-seven (27) semester hours in-field from a regionally accredited institution is required.
OR
Associate’s degree or Associate in Applied Science degree in Medical Assisting or Nursing with at least twenty-seven (27) semester hours in-field from a regionally accredited institution is required. Note: One hired without a bachelor’s degree would be required to earn a bachelor’s degree within three (3) years of employment.
2. Current AAMA credentialing as a Certified Medical Assistant OR an unencumbered Alabama Board of Nursing license as a Registered Nurse is required.
3. Three years’ experience as a medical assistant or nurse in a medical or clinical office practice is required.
4. Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.
5. Experience incorporating multi-media instructional techniques into a curricula including instructional technology for web-based teaching and course management utilizing the Canvas platform is preferred.
6. Experience with diverse student populations is preferred.

Position Available: Available positions are contingent upon enrollment and the instructional needs of the College. Enterprise State Community College accepts applications for Adjunct Instructors on a continuous basis to fill morning, afternoon, evening or weekend needs at all College locations to include dual enrollment at area high schools. However, it does not necessarily imply there are immediate openings.
Term/Length: Fall/Spring Semester – approximately 15 weeks; Summer Semester – approximately 10 weeks
SALARY: Salary Schedule L $600 per Theory Hour/$790 per Lab Hour
Compensation arrangements for substitute instructors may vary depending on the duration of the instructional assignment and the instructional division (academic or technical) within the College. Appropriate compensation arrangements for substitute instructors will be determined by the College.
