We are currently seeking a Unarmed Security Guard to provide a safe, calm, and professional security presence within an educational environment in Summerville, SC. This role is critical in maintaining a secure campus while interacting respectfully with students, staff, and visitors.

Active Unarmed Private Security Officer Registration issued by South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED)

Minimum 18 years of age

Clean criminal background (must pass background check)

Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Ability to remain calm, professional, and alert in a school environment

Strong communication and observation skills

Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods

Prior experience in school security, educational facilities, or youthfocused environments

Experience in unarmed security, customer service, or access control
-
CPR / First Aid certification (a plus, not mandatory)

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Maintain a visible and professional unarmed security presence on campus

Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas

Assist with access control and visitor management

Observe, document, and report incidents as required

Collaborate with school staff and follow established safety protocols

Act as a positive, reassuring presence for students and faculty

This is a nonarmed position

Candidates must already hold a valid SLED Unarmed registration
