Duties
- Perform comprehensive plumbing inspections using advanced tools such as plumbing inspection cameras and schematics to identify issues within residential water systems and plumbing infrastructure.
- Execute repairs and maintenance on water supply lines, drain systems, fixtures, and appliances using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques.
- Conduct drain cleaning services utilizing specialized equipment to clear blockages efficiently and prevent future backups.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to accurately install or modify plumbing systems in accordance with local building codes and safety standards.
- Operate company vehicles safely while adhering to commercial driving regulations to reach job sites promptly.
- Collaborate with clients by providing exceptional customer service—explaining repair processes clearly, answering questions thoroughly, and ensuring satisfaction with every job completed.
- Assist in remodeling or construction projects by applying carpentry skills, assembly techniques, and HVAC knowledge when necessary for integrated system installations or upgrades.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document work performed for quality assurance and compliance purposes.
- Engage in heavy lifting tasks and construction site activities safely while following all safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on residential plumbing systems is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with plumbing system maintenance, repair, installation, and troubleshooting is essential.
- Familiarity with construction site procedures, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical knowledge is required.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding gear, and plumbing inspection cameras.
- Knowledge of local building codes related to residential plumbing projects ensures compliance at all times.
- Experience working with water systems—including supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures—and performing drain cleaning tasks.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately while demonstrating strong basic math skills for precise measurements.
- Prior experience in remodeling projects or handyman roles that involve carpentry or assembly work is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for operating company vehicles safely on multiple job sites.
