Responsibilities

- Adapt instructional methods to meet the diverse needs of students from various cultural backgrounds and with different learning styles.
- Communicate regularly with school staff and teachers to ensure continuity of instruction and student progress.
- Utilize educational technologies and computers to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement.
- Follow school policies, mandated reporting laws, and confidentiality guidelines while working with students.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings or childcare environments.
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, parents, and students.
- Ability to adapt instruction for students with special needs, including those with autism or requiring special education support.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and curriculum implementation across multiple subjects.
- Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and varying developmental stages.
- Proficiency in using computers and educational technologies for instructional purposes.
- Knowledge of school policies, mandated reporting laws, and best practices in private or public school environments.
