Water Restoration Technician
Roto-Rooter is hiring year-round, full-time Water Mitigation Technicians. Our water cleanup business is booming, and we’re looking for the right candidates for the team!
Good fit for those with carpet cleaning, construction, lawn care, pest control, or general laborer experience. Field service & water mitigation experience a plus but not required!
As a water mitigation technician your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to daily commercial and residential emergency services.
- Working with crew members to provide solutions for customers
- Communicating job process with customers and answering questions accordingly.
- Removing damaged or wet building materials such as carpet, pad, baseboard, cabinets, drywall.
- Taking daily moisture readings, measurements, setting up commercial drying equipment, extracting water/mitigating water damage utilizing commercial equipment
- Daily documentation of completed job tasks in an organized manner
- Cleaning and maintaining Roto-Rooter equipment and vehicle
Requirements include:
- Must have a professional appearance and great attitude.
- Must be hard-working, able to work independently, and be self-motivated
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Able to move up to 50 lbs. of equipment or materials on a regular basis
- Some night and weekend work is required.
- A valid driver license with a reasonable driving record.
