Job Summary**
The Foreman (43427 APEX - Primoris Energy Services) will lead and supervise a crew of skilled and unskilled workers in the execution of various energy services projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. This role involves direct oversight of daily operations, adherence to project specifications, and effective communication with project management.
Job Responsibilities**
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a project crew, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and project-specific safety plans.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to ensure accurate execution of work.
- Conduct daily safety meetings (toolbox talks) and hazard assessments.
- Monitor and control project costs, including material usage and labor hours.
- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues and challenges in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, clients, and crew members.
- Train and mentor crew members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Prepare daily reports, including progress updates, safety observations, and equipment utilization.
- Participate in project planning and scheduling meetings.
- Ensure quality control standards are met throughout all phases of the project.
Job Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or relevant certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy services, construction, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant construction practices, safety standards, and equipment operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required; additional safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, CPR) preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for reporting and communication.
