Job Overview
We are looking for someone who can join our team and cook and prepare food for in store purchases as well as doordash, ubereats, etc.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, including frying, grilling, and other cooking techniques
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring proper maintenance and sanitation procedures are followed
- Assist with food production tasks such as food handling, meal preparation, and portioning to meet high-volume demands
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety sanitizing procedures
- Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods
- Follow food safety management protocols to ensure all dishes meet health regulations and quality expectations
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experiences for guests or residents
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or catering environment is highly preferred
- Proven skills in food preparation techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking methods
- Experience in high-volume production settings demonstrating efficiency under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitizing procedures essential for maintaining a clean kitchen environment
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
