Responsilbilites Include:
Must have solid experience in a similar leadership role.
Ability to learn the position and what our company does.
Ability to effectively and efficiently lead, manage and motivate a moving crew.
Maintain upkeep of supplies, truck and submit supply orders.
Excellent communication skills for communicating with the moving team and other team members regarding schedules, auction items from estates, etc.
Ability to communicate with clients when on jobs.
Be able to identify and have knowledge of value of antique, vintage and various estate items.
Capable of identifying and tagging items to be selected for auction.
Ability to take photos in homes of various items, as needed.
Leading moving team members in homes and at auction gallery.
Excellent skills in packing boxes for the moving crew to load onto the truck.
Reviewing overall moving jobs to ensure all tasks are complete and all items are accounted for and well protected.
Learning how to set the auction floor and directing moving team with tasks.
Must be able to safely lift heavy items up to 40 lbs.
Must be able to appropriately wrap and handle fragile items with care.
Ability to be at work on time and work in a fast paced environment.
Gallery is located in Conroe. Jobs are all around the Houston area, and this candidate is able to ride with the crew to each job, if preferred.
Must be a self starter, take initiative, detail oriented, highly organized, work at a fast pace, high energy, team player and good work ethic.
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check. DRUG FREE WORK ENVIRONMENT.
Knowledge of estate sales, auctions, antiques, vintage and/or collectibles is a plus.
Pay based on experience.
