Overview
Robison Construction and Robison Environmental Services (RES) are looking for a dependable, safety-minded driver to join our team in Joplin, Missouri. This role primarily involves driving roll-off container trucks and dump trucks throughout Southwest Missouri, Southeast Kansas, and Northeast Oklahoma. We are looking for someone who takes pride in safe, efficient work, communicates well, and is willing to help with light maintenance and general construction support when needed. What You’ll Do
· Safely operate roll-off container trucks and dump trucks in support of daily operations.
· Deliver, pick up, and swap containers at commercial, residential, and jobsite locations.
· Haul dirt, demolition debris, aggregate, and other materials as assigned.
· Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report mechanical or safety issues promptly.
· Secure loads properly using tarps, chains, and other required equipment.
· Maintain accurate logs, haul tickets, delivery records, and disposal receipts.
· Communicate with dispatch and supervisors regarding schedules, route changes, delays, and job-site conditions.
· Assist with light maintenance, general construction work, and other field tasks when needed.
What We’re Looking For
· Valid Class A CDL with air brake endorsement.
· At least 1 year of commercial driving experience required; roll-off, dump truck, or construction hauling experience preferred.
· Clean MVR with no serious traffic violations or major accidents in the last 3-5 years.
· Willingness to work across both RES and Robison Construction operations as needed.
· Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
Physical Requirements
· Frequently mount and dismount the truck throughout the day, often 25-50 times depending on route and workload.
· Lift, pull, and push 50-75+ lbs for tarps, chains, and related equipment.
· Work safely in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
Preferred Experience
· Manual transmission experience.
· Experience operating roll-off trucks, dump trucks, end dumps, or similar hauling equipment.
· Familiarity working around loaders, excavators, and other heavy equipment on active jobsites.
· Trailer hauling or construction material hauling experience.
· Experience with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices (ELDs).
Pay
· $20.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience.
· Full-time position with overtime and occasional Saturday work as needed.
· Employees are paid biweekly.
· Stable, long-term local work with a hard-working team.
