Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Fence Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of fencing systems, ensuring each project meets quality standards and safety regulations. Your expertise in construction, carpentry, and building materials will drive successful fence construction projects from start to finish. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate fence installation.
- Measure, mark, and prepare sites for fence posts, panels, gates, and other components using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform heavy lifting of fencing materials, posts, concrete forms, and other building supplies safely and efficiently.
- Use welding techniques when necessary to secure metal components or reinforce structures.
- Install building materials such as concrete footings, masonry elements, and landscape features to support fencing projects.
- Operate power tools safely while adhering to all safety protocols related to construction site work.
- Assemble fencing components accurately while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and quality control.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on-site to promote safety and efficiency throughout each project.
- Collaborate with team members to interpret construction plans and execute projects according to specifications.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure fences are level, secure, and compliant with local codes and client expectations.
Experience
- Proven experience in fence installation or related construction fields such as carpentry or masonry.
- Strong background in construction site work with knowledge of safety procedures and equipment operation.
- Skilled in framing carpentry, concrete forming, masonry work, welding, and landscape maintenance is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, construction plans, and blueprints for various projects.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for outdoor work environments.
- Experience working with hand tools and power tools including drills, saws, welders, and concrete finishing equipment.
- Knowledge of hardscape installation techniques such as concrete finishing and assembly of structural components is a plus.
