This position is for an experienced heavy equipment mechanic with knowledge of heavy equipment repairs, diesel engines, electrical motors, chassis and trailer repair.

Schedule:
M-F, 6:30am - 4:00pm, with overtime as needed.
Key Job Duties:
-
Perform maintenance on heavy lift equipment, terminal trucks, containers, and chassis

Execute work instructions and communicate progress over the radio or on a tablet

Assess, document, and fix equipment in the following categories
-
Readily dispatch to operationally critical damaged equipment in the yard with the goal of quickly bringing the machine back to safe working condition

Perform other duties assigned by leadership
This job will have exposure to agricultural product such as wheat and soy.
Requirements:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred

Minimum 2 years experience in heavy equipment repairs, diesel engines, electrical motors, chassis and trailer repair, parts inventory, work orders

Experience with Microsoft office products, terminal operating systems, SharePoint or google drive

Ability to frequently lift over 50 lbs

Ability to work in all weather conditions

Ability to push and pull up to 80 pounds occasionally
