Overview
Pompano Grill is an award-winning Coastal Steakhouse & Prime Seafood restaurant in Cocoa Beach, known for our chef-driven menu, high-quality ingredients, and exceptional guest experience. We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Line Cook to join our small, professional kitchen team.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, works efficiently under pressure, and understands the importance of consistency and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute upscale seafood and steak dishes to our standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team during service
- Follow recipes, portioning, and plating standards
- Assist with prep, stocking, and cleaning duties
- Maintain all food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of line cook experience in an upscale or fine dining restaurant
- Strong knowledge of seafood and steak preparation
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume service
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
- Punctual, dependable, and self-motivated
- Comfortable working in an open kitchen where professionalism and communication are essential
- Positive attitude and team-first mentality
Schedule
- Part-Time
- Evening shifts - 2pm - 9pm
- Tuesday through Saturday
Compensation is dependent upon experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
