American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a night shift travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Aurora, CO.

350-bed acute care hospital respiratory therapy department with a staff of 38
-
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
-
13-week assignment
-
Staffing ratio is variable; typical shift includes 1 charge therapist and 5 staff therapists
-
Equipment used includes Hamilton G5, Hamilton C1, Hamilton T1, V60, and Vyaire Avea ventilators
-
EMR: Meditech (prior experience preferred)
-
PEDS, NICU, and PICU experience preferred

Current RRT credential (NBRC) or CRT license
-
Minimum 6 months of current acute care RRT hospital experience
-
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS (AHA or ARC accepted; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start)

Active state license if applicable

US SSN and DOB required for consideration

One professional reference required

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Primary responsibilities include ventilator management and airway management

The ideal candidate is energetic, team-oriented, and places a high priority on patient experience
