American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 2 years of experience to support an ED team in an adult acute care and outpatient setting, with preferred trauma experience.

Works in the Emergency Department (ED) of an acute care hospital
-
Adult acute care and adult outpatient setting, with some pediatric outpatient exposure
-
Procedures include portable/bedside X-ray, chest and thorax, abdomen/GI, spine and pelvis, upper and lower extremity imaging, head imaging, and C-arm procedures

Uses PACS system
-
5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
-
No floating required
-
No on-call requirement
-
Competency required across a wide age range, from neonates to older adults
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in X-Ray / Radiology
-
Current ARRT-R and BLS certifications required
-
Valid state license or certification required, if applicable

Charting system experience required (any)

Trauma Level I or II experience preferred

Experience in adult acute care and adult outpatient settings required
-
PA Fingerprints required; if no valid PA Childline and fingerprint result from within 12 months of start date, must complete fingerprinting at the earliest available date

SSN and DOB required for consideration

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

2 valid references and copies of certifications required for consideration

Perform X-ray imaging across a broad range of anatomical areas including chest, abdomen, spine, pelvis, upper and lower extremities, and head
-
Perform bedside/portable procedures and C-arm-assisted procedures
-
Must follow isolation precautions and proper PPE protocols

Ceil blue scrubs provided

A pass/fail clinical exam is required for clearance; candidates have a maximum of 3 attempts to pass
-
All RTO must be submitted at time of consideration; RTO requests after submission will not be accepted, and block scheduling cannot be accommodated

Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are accepted but may be subject to a local rate differential
-
First-time travelers will be considered for this position
