Rockingham Lawn Care LLC is seeking an experienced Landscape Technician to join our growing landscape maintenance team. We are looking for a hardworking, dependable individual who takes pride in quality work and enjoys working outdoors year-round.
Responsibilities
- Weekly lawn mowing and property maintenance
- Spring and fall cleanups
- Bark mulch installation
- Trimming, edging, and blowing
- Shrub pruning and landscape maintenance
- Planting projects and other landscape improvements
- Loading, unloading, and caring for equipment
- Working efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality
Winter Employment
This is a year-round position. During the winter months, employees transition to our snow operations team, which includes:
- Commercial and residential snow plowing
- Sidewalk and walkway shoveling
- Ice management and salting
- Snow removal operations
Requirements
- Previous landscape maintenance experience is required
- Experience operating commercial zero-turn mowers and other landscape equipment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well with a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience driving trucks with trailers
- Experience operating skid steers or compact equipment
- Snow plowing experience (preferred but not required)
