Job Title: Class A CDL Truck Driver
Job Summary:
We are seeking dependable and experienced
Class A CDL Truck Drivers to join our company!
As a Class A driver, you will be responsible for long-haul routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of US Mail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Class A commercial vehicle on assigned routes.
- Transport US Mail in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips; ensure proper maintenance and reporting of issues.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch to plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
- Ensure accurate completion of trip logs, mileage records, and other documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while maintaining a clean driving record.
- Safely load and unload cargo when required, securing loads properly.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or delivery locations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL license.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent OTR (Over-the-Road) experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
- Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to be on the road
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ELD (Electronic Logging Devices) systems.
