About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and energetic Part-Time Breakfast Server to join our team at the Runway Grill. As one of the highest-occupancy properties in the market with an upscale atmosphere and steady local following, you will play a key role in setting a welcoming tone for our guests' day through fast, attentive service and great hospitality.
Schedule & Hours
- Average Hours: ~10–15 hours per week (typically 2 breakfast shifts per week).
- Schedule Requirements: Weekend morning availability is required (early morning starts).
- Major Plus: Flexibility to cover extra restaurant shifts or banquet events as needed.
Compensation & Earning Potential
Compensation consists of a server hourly base wage plus tips. Because of our high occupancy rates and consistent local patronage, our servers enjoy strong, competitive earning potential above standard baselines, with total hourly earnings driven by daily volume and your commitment to high-level service.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests, take food/beverage orders, and deliver orders promptly.
- Maintain clean, organized dining tables and assist with bussing plates during peak rushes.
- Keep food, beverage, and side stations fully stocked, clean, and sanitized.
- Perform opening and closing side work (setting up coffee stations, rolling silverware).
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members.
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior server or hospitality experience preferred; strong work ethic and great attitude required.
- Punctual, dependable, and comfortable with early morning shifts.
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs and stand for full shifts.
