Job Summary
Wixom Station Grill & Craft Tavern is hiring a full-time Lead Bartender / FOH & Beverage Supervisor.
This is a working leadership position for an experienced bartender who can also help supervise front-of-house shifts, especially during lunch and transition periods. The right person will be strong behind the bar, organized with inventory and ordering, comfortable checking out staff, and able to hold servers and bartenders accountable for side work and shift standards.
This is not a tip-only bartender position. It is a steady full-time role for someone who wants responsibility, structure, and a leadership path.
Pay
$22–$25 per hour, based on experience and ability.
Additional tips may be earned from guests personally and directly served while bartending. Because this position includes supervisory responsibilities, it is not intended to participate in server tip pools or receive tips earned by other employees.
Schedule
Full-time, typically 35–45 hours per week, with an expected schedule of 5 shifts per week.
Schedule will include a mix of:
- Lunch/day shifts
- Evening shifts
- Weekend shifts
- Some slower shifts used for inventory, liquor ordering, cleaning, training, staff checkout, and shift readiness
Expected shift times may include:
- Day/Lunch: approximately 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Mid/Transition: approximately 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Evening/Close: approximately 3:00 p.m. – close
Weekend availability is required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages according to house standards.
- Provide professional service to bar and dining room guests.
- Maintain consistent pours, recipes, garnishes, glassware, and presentation.
- Help supervise lunch service and assigned FOH shifts.
- Check out servers and bartenders before they leave.
- Inspect and enforce side work completion.
- Assist with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and bar supply inventory.
- Help maintain par levels and assist with liquor ordering.
- Communicate low-stock items, guest issues, staff issues, and shift concerns to management.
- Support bartender training, cocktail consistency, and beverage program standards.
- Help respond to call-offs, schedule gaps, and staffing issues during assigned shifts.
- Keep the bar, service areas, and guest-facing areas clean, stocked, and ready for the next shift.
- Follow responsible alcohol service, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
Qualifications
- Prior full-service restaurant bartending experience required.
- Prior lead bartender, bar supervisor, shift lead, or FOH supervisor experience preferred.
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
- Able to follow house recipes and measured pour standards.
- Comfortable with inventory, par levels, ordering, and basic beverage cost awareness.
- Comfortable checking out staff and holding people accountable.
- Reliable, organized, calm, and professional.
- Able to work independently during slower shifts and stay focused during busy shifts.
- Must be available for lunch, evening, and weekend shifts.
- Alcohol service certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.
- Toast POS experience preferred, but not required.

Wixom Station Grill & Craft Tavern is a full-service restaurant and bar in downtown Wixom, MI. We are building an elevated American grill and craft tavern concept focused on consistent food, disciplined service, classic hospitality, and a stronger beverage program.
We are looking for someone who wants to help set standards, not just work shifts.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
